After visiting the Gorge Wildlife Park for holding the koala and feeding the lovely kangaroos, we went to the chocolate factory close by. The chocolate factory sales lots of types of chocolates, lollies, drinks and some souvenirs. Afterward, we had a lunch in a restaurant. I had fish and hot chips for the lunch. Later on, we went to visit a toys factory. Despite the stuffs were a little bit of expensive, they were really interesting because I found some historical toys that I played when I was a little boy. I think that I will be missing this so much because this is the last two day in Australia and we had lots of fun today.
Today is the last day that we stay in Australia. So for this day, Ms Margy brought us to have a final tour of Tea Tree Gully. We saw the first council chamber and the old highercombe hotel on the way. We then arrived a plants nursery. I saw a lot of beautiful flowers right there, like orchid, phoenix flower and chrysanthemum. Some of us bought some flowers as chrysanthemum for their host families, some others including me, bought some plants seeds. I bought some chili seeds for myself because my family loves hot and spicy food. After that, we were back to school and had recces with our buddies. After the recces, the farewell party begins. At the start, Carmen did a speech to Banksia Park High School on behalf of Pokok. Ryan, one of our buddies, did another speech to thank all people after Carmen's. The following up was our song performance of 'Live while we are young' from One Direction. Then, we had lunch, contact info exchanging and talking with our buddies. Pam drove me to home afterward. This night, I slept with my host family very early in the parlor to have last time together. Deeply, I miss this lovely place so much and I love here. Finally I promise that I will be back to see you again, Pam and Braydon. Hopefully next time I come here, I will have fulfilled your mission to me!
Two days left in Australia, time runs so fast. At the morning, we went to Gorge Wildlife Park to have a tour. There were many kinds of animals as a zoo, like peacocks, monkeys, kangaroos, koalas, etc. Everyone had a chance to hold a koala for a while. And we took lots of photos of holding the koala. After holding the koala, we went to buy some fodders for kangaroos. The animals were so cute, we all had fun when feeding the kangaroos and holding the koala. If I have next chance to come to Adelaide, I will go back here again and take more photos of the lovely animals. After feeding the animals, we packed up and started moving to next stage.
This morning, we departed Banksia Park High School for a full day tour to Victor Harbor. The first spot we went is the Granite Island. That was a very long way from Banksia Park to the Granite Island as we spent more than one hour to get to there by bus. The signs telling us that there are seagulls, dolphins, sea dragons, fur seals and also Penguins. I was really confused that why there are Penguins in Australia, I thought Penguins are suppose to live at the south point only. Teachers told me that it is because South Australia is quite near to the south points and there is cold enough for Penguins in winter, that is why there are Penguins on the Granite Island. Then, we also saw the horse drawn tram, which is a horse pulling a hold train. Walked through the bridge, we saw groups of Penguins and took lots of awesome photos of the fantastic viewing of the Granite Island. After visiting the Australia Granite Island, we went to see the paddle steamer, Oscar W. We were very lucky that we were permitted to enter the boat. I saw the very old steam engine of the boat and this is the soul of Oscar W. After visiting the paddle steamer, I bought some souvenirs and then we got back to Banksia.
225words Since we went to the Australia Granite Island and saw the paddle steamer yesterday, so we were just learning and studying the aboriginal cultures and the knowledge of some stuffs. Before noon, Ms Margy spent three lessons with us to explain the things that we saw yesterday. Ms Margy taught us about the things that we saw yesterday, including sheep, horse drawn tram, penguins, seagulls, lambs, etc. I was no more confused about something like the penguins after these 3 lessons by Ms Margy. Afterward, we had a lesson for the aboriginal weapons by Ms Margy. I have learnt what weapons the aboriginal people use and how they use it, such as spear, spear thrower, boomerang, kulu kulu, etc. After the aboriginal weapons lesson, we joined Mr Warren's year 8 Drama class with Ms Margy. We did something really fun with the Banksia students. Then, we were grouped to 5 groups and started to organize a drama of an accident. We all did so well during the drama lesson and had lunch with buddies after the lesson. After that, we attended another lesson of the aboriginal entertainments. I have learnt a lot today, which could definitely enhance my knowledge.
207words After a whole day lessons of Australia and aboriginal cultures (yesterday), we went to see the real aboriginal cultures today! It was not a very long way from Banksia Park High School to the city. We went to the museum by bus for 40 minutes. The environment there made me feeling like in England, very beautiful! In the museum, there shows everything about the aboriginal people like the weapons, the tools, the food, the transport, the behavior, etc. Actually, I found that the Australia aboriginal cultures are quite interesting. It is because they would dance like kangaroos, they would use boomerang to hunt and they definite the beauty by something terrible, you can see an example of "beautiful" through the photos. I think the aboriginal people are really intelligent, because they are really well on making poisons like emu poisons and also weapons such as boomerangs. After looking around the museum, we went to the souvenir shop to have a look and buy something, then we had a picnic lunch on the lawns outside of the museum. After the lunch, we went to Rundle Mall Shopping area for shopping time. Despite some of us said that the stuffs of famous brands there were really cheap, I did not buy anything. It is because I am not interested in the famous brands and the stuffs are really expensive, for example, a bracelet selling for $415 Australian dollars. Anyway, today is a good day.
254words I woke up a little bit late today, it is because that I played really hard at the Braydon's birthday pary yesterday. After waking up, I had a lamb yiros for lunch in Ingle Farm Shopping Mall. Afternoon, we started moving to the Adelaide zoo. There were a lot of kinds of animals in the zoo, like birds, tigers, monkeys, butterflies, kangaroos, etc. Some of them were really cute! We stayed in the zoo for a really short time because the zoo was closing at 5 p.m. and we entered at 3:30 p.m. But anyway, that was a really great time.
After the zoo tour, I and my host family went to the Adelaide oval to watch an AFL footy match which is about the Adelaide Zoo against the Brisbane Lions. The Brisbane Lions were the outsiders, so most people support the Adelaide Crows. There were about 48000 audiences in the oval. I think that was the most beautiful game I have ever seen. It is because The Adelaide Crows won against the Brisbane lions by leading 87 points. The game was excellent! I have also bought some souvenir to home, and those are free!
I woke up today at 7 o'clock. I had had a breakfast and then did yesterday's homework. Afternoon, I went to see the bugle ranger, which is a very old steam railway train. The bugle ranger was driven by my host grandfather, so I got a ticket for free. That was my first time to try to seat in a such awesome train. The way was really excellent, which is from Mount Barker to Bugle Ranges. I saw how to drive a steam train then and experienced the steam train, that was a good experience. We also had some food at the station, stuffs there were really cheap like we can buy a 700 ml bottle of water for $1 only!
After the train, I and my host family went to Hahndorf, which is a small town which living mostly germans. There are lots of stores selling different kinds of stuffs like food, souvenirs and jews. I bought something there, they are all very beautiful decorations as you can see through the photos. Afterward, we went to the highest point of Adelaide, MtLofty. But unfortunately, there was really cloudy, I could see nothing right there. There was even looking like a little bit creepy just like so horrible movie because of the cloud. As you can see the photos, there was really terrible!
