This morning, we departed Banksia Park High School for a full day tour to Victor Harbor. The first spot we went is the Granite Island. That was a very long way from Banksia Park to the Granite Island as we spent more than one hour to get to there by bus. The signs telling us that there are seagulls, dolphins, sea dragons, fur seals and also Penguins. I was really confused that why there are Penguins in Australia, I thought Penguins are suppose to live at the south point only. Teachers told me that it is because South Australia is quite near to the south points and there is cold enough for Penguins in winter, that is why there are Penguins on the Granite Island. Then, we also saw the horse drawn tram, which is a horse pulling a hold train. Walked through the bridge, we saw groups of Penguins and took lots of awesome photos of the fantastic viewing of the Granite Island. After visiting the Australia Granite Island, we went to see the paddle steamer, Oscar W. We were very lucky that we were permitted to enter the boat. I saw the very old steam engine of the boat and this is the soul of Oscar W. After visiting the paddle steamer, I bought some souvenirs and then we got back to Banksia.
